Thank you so much! You made me identify the root of this pain I’ve had for years. You are so accurate in your explanation, after doing like you showed, the pain was relieved. That’s amazing
What does this exercise help with? I have severe stenosis in the facet joints that affect my shoulder blades neck shoulders arms and hand. Will this help strengthen my arm muscles that are wasting away?? I watch your videos all the time. I really appreciate that there kept short easy and attainable. This makes it so much easier than a bunch of moves at one time. That way I can get used to that one before I learn another one. Before too long I will have learned enough to do a 30 minute targeted exercise session. Thank you for making these videos for those of us who can't afford pt.
Are you super tall or do you have super low ceilings? Either way, great vid! Been trying to find more at-home leg calisthenics.
I have no swilling but i feel little pain i just start my physical therapy is it normal?
Its hard to climb stairs for me . I hope this exercise will help me. But i want to know how long it will take me to strengthen my knee .

Thank you. I am going to try this. Do you think this will work on a 3.5 year popliteus muscle injury i got going down stairs? It doesn't hurt in the back, but I realize now it is really larger/swollen more than my other knee. Is it possible deep massage like this can make my knee straighten out again? Its a bit bent and I sort of hobble though now stablized) and I am so sick of it. Thank you.
Hey @bar8419! It's great that you're trying this treatment. For a long-term popliteus muscle injury like yours, proceed carefully. How is friction between body and wall accounted for. Do you actually need some friction for control of the movement? How much is too much friction?
Hi @Divocwax! Great question! Friction is important for stability during wall squats. It helps you control your movement and prevents slipping. Too much friction can make it harder to move smoothly up and down the wall, affecting your form. Aim for enough friction to feel stable without restricting your movement. Chondromalacia is usually caused my muscle imbalances pulling the knee cap out of line. I have it on both knees. Quad exercises are always prescribed for this and that’s not right. Quads are usually too strong and pulling the knee cap into the thigh. the glutes and calves need to be strengthened individually without strengthening the quads. So many PT people recommend quad exercises and they aren’t what they need. It can make it worse. Sorry just saying

I am very famaliar with these exercises, however, not necessarily in this sequence, and particularly the tuck of the tailbone - posterior pelvic tilt. Started to-day and will do the exercises daily and the measure for me will be if I have less pain particularly in my right hip socket, and do not waken up most nights at 3am with hip and knee pain. I have been living the moderate to severe OSTEOARTHRITIS in both my hips for the last four years! Are you a Physical Therapist or had special training in dealing with Osteoarthritis of the hips? Hello Coach Todd: I am following this specific sequience of exercises since I last sent you a note. So far the same chronic stinging pain is going down the side of my right hip into my knee and down the side of my calf to my foot which often feels numb. Sitting can be most uncomfortable and I can characterize it as being like a Bee sting all the way down to my foot. Really uncomfortable when I go for a walk. I will persevere.
Why do i still feel stiveness 10 weeks after meniscus surgery?
Hey @dakoku8836! Stiffness 10 weeks after meniscus surgery can be normal as your knee heals. It might be due to scar tissue, swelling, or muscle tightness. What causes nausea with sciatica? I had cellulitus a few months ago and currently on medical leave for surgery sometime soon. However, my sciatica started acting up and nausea? Do they go together? I did know if do or not
Hi @jonatrhankarski2696, nausea can sometimes be linked to sciatica, though it's less common. Pain or stress might be the cause. Your recent cellulitis and upcoming surgery could also contribute. Best to discuss with your doctor for proper advice. Take care and feel better soon! 😊💪 Please take a moment to hit that 'Like' button 👍 and 'Subscribe' to our channel.
